Provider in California

Piscataway, New Jersey) New Century Education Corporation is
pleased to announce that it has been approved to be a Supplemental Education
Service Provider in the state of California. Supplemental educational
services are additional academic instruction designed to increase the academic
achievement of students in low-performing schools. These services may include academic
assistance such as tutoring, remediation and other educational interventions,
provided that such approaches are consistent with the content and instruction
used by the local educational agency (LEA) and are aligned with the State’s
academic content standards.
Supplemental educational services must be high quality, research-based,
and specifically designed to increase student academic achievement.
The New Century Integrated Instructional System has been developed based on the company’s foundation research
and the accepted principles of instruction in its various
disciplines. New Century provides
a complete and comprehensive curriculum for individualized K-12 instruction in reading, writing and mathematics. To support the needs of California educators, New
Century is correlated to SAT9, CA
Standards and CA Exit Standards. New
Century also offers a test preparation program for the CA Exit Exam. Implementation of the New Century
System gives teachers a tool to deliver standards based instruction and to
individually prepare all of their students for success on state
assessments. New
Century provides detailed initial diagnostics in reading and mathematics as well as
continuous assessments to measure student gains during the year. The reporting features included with New
Century’s Management
System makes it easy to comply with reporting
requirements for supplemental services programs. New Century’s individualized approach to
instruction has contributed to student success and achievement by a variety of
measures in a wide range of educational settings.
