The instructional
management component of the New Century Integrated Instructional System
makes it possible
for each teacher to shape the System to individual and program
requirements.
The management system acts as the system administrator,
automatically delivering each student's assignments and tracking and
reporting progress. Teachers may override the System's decisions, or
create customized assignments which teach specific learning objectives.
Third party software resources may also be managed under the New Century
management system. The management system gives teachers the detailed information
needed to successfully individualize instruction. Diagnostic profiles
provide a complete analysis of beginning skills. The same profiles are
continuously updated to show each student's ongoing learning gains. Other
reports provide detailed information on all of a student's system
activities to facilitate effective one-on-one support. The management system simplifies the job of monitoring and
reporting the progress of specific student groups. The system provides an
array of reports which summarize key information for any group including
detailed lesson results, cumulative gains, current grade level, and time
on task. New Century Education's fully integrated point system inspires
students to succeed. Students earn points for passing the activities in
their instructional programs. Certificates of achievement and special
activities are awarded at various point milestones. Administered
automatically by the System, the point system makes success and progress
more tangible to students. |
