The New Century Mathematics curriculum provides a comprehensive and contemporary approach to the development of mathematics skills for students of all ages. The curriculum was designed to address the goals of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics. The themes of mathematics as communication, mathematical reasoning, mathematical connections, and the use of tools are developed and reinforced throughout the instructional strands of the curriculum. Entire strands devoted to measurement, geometry and spatial sense, problem solving, and estimation are included in the curriculum.

            with effective strategies and tactics - all applied to
            realistic situations.

             tools (calculators, rulers, protractors) are incorporated
             at all levels.

helps students
            understand abstract mathematical concepts through
            realistic manipulatives and to connect mathematics with
            real life situations and contexts. 

  Audio instruction, help and feedback at all levels of the
            curriculum enhance learning and support the needs of
            limited English proficient students. 

  New Century's Interactive Algebra Course responds to
            the need for all students to master algebra concepts
            and skills to meet higher standards of mathematics
