The New Century Instructional
System has contributed to improved reading, writing and math test
results for elementary, middle and high school students. Through New
Century’s individualized instruction and given reasonable time on
task, students can achieve 2 months gain for each month of program
instruction. New Century’s technology-based curriculum is
correlated to state academic standards and tests. Special
Diagnostic /Prescriptive program modules are available for selected
state and standardized tests.

can be utilized to provide supplemental instruction that is consistent with district programs and standards. The program
allows multi-grade students to work independently in a group setting to
progress to mastery of state standards. New Century’s user friendly
management system, integrated assessments and targeted instruction
facilitate tutoring, after school services and summer programs.

The New Century Instructional System
actively engages students in learning through multimedia instruction that is both self paced and individualized. The
System provides appropriately challenging instruction for tutorial services to help
students meet local and state academic standards in reading and math,
based on an automated and accurate assessment of ability levels and skill
deficiencies. New Century provides literacy skills for the entire family,
from kindergarten to GED Preparation.
Reading First
and Reading Improvement
The New Century Reading
curriculum is consistent with the recommendations of the National Reading Panel. The program includes diagnostic assessment and
individually prescribed instruction in phonics, comprehension, spelling and language
usage, all with audio and graphic support.
Instructional Technology
(Title II, Part D)
New Century provides ongoing, sustained and high quality professional
development as part of its service. The initial and ongoing staff
development included with the program spans an entire year. New Century’s
automatic tracking and reporting of student time on task and outcomes
supports accountability for the effectiveness of technology.
