Educational training,
assistance, and support are critical to the success of any networked
software installation, and especially so for an integrated instructional
system.
Equipment and Materials Check Prior to initial training, the New Century Education Services Manager conducts a thorough check of the system to confirm that all system functions are operational and all supplemental materials are in place. The system check includes diagnostic testing; testing of selected lessons, mastery and pre-tests; student data entry and edit check; and printing key profiles and reports.
Initial Training - Primary Users Initial training is provided in small group sessions for up to five primary users. A primary user is an individual who will be responsible daily for the hands-on management of the instructional system. The three day training session is conducted at the client site. The emphasis is on those aspects of the System which support the implementation’s goals, and in general will include: Training is conducted in small groups to allow hands-on participation. After completion of training, users will be capable of operating their system and utilizing all of its essential functions.

Secondary Users Inservice A one-half to one day inservice for secondary system users is also included in the system purchase cost. The inservice is designed to provide a general overview of the system to administrators and teachers who will not be responsible for its day-to-day hands-on management. The inservice may be customized to meet the needs of a particular site but in general will cover:
