Integrated Instructional System is
approved by the Mississippi Department of Information
Technology Services (ITS)
(July, 2002, Piscataway, New
Jersey) New Century Education Corporation is pleased to announce
that its Integrated Instructional System has been approved by the Mississippi
Department of Information Technology Services (ITS) and is included on the
Software Curriculum Express Products List (SCEPL) found at http://www.its.state.ms.us/eplfiles/3272b-scepl.pdf. The SCEPL may be used in the acquisition of
instructional courseware by Mississippi educational entities and state and
local agencies with education programs.
The New Century Integrated
Instructional System provides a complete and comprehensive curriculum for
individualized instruction in reading, writing, mathematics and GED
Preparation. To support the needs of
Mississippi educators, the curriculum content has been correlated to the
Mississippi Criterion Referenced Tests (CRT’s) Assessment Standards.
Implementation of the New Century System gives teachers a tool to deliver
standards based instruction and to individually prepare all of their students
for success on state assessments.
