Social Studies 2000+ and Ancient World 2000+ were developed with funding awarded from the Education Departments of Florida and California. Content was developed in collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, New York City; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Getty Museum, Pasadena; and the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco. Social Studies 2000+ is a full K-8 social studies curriculum, which correlates with NCSS concepts and standards and with those of many states. Ancient World 2000+ is an alternative social studies curriculum for Middle School and High School Students covering Human Prehistory through the fall of the Roman Empire. Rich content from the many museums provides the student with an exciting learning adventure through ancient times and a discovery of influences that shaped today’s world. Both Social Studies 2000+ and Ancient World 2000+ have been adopted in several states, including California, Texas and Florida.
